Greeting cards & Gift wrap

If you are looking for a special card why not have a browse through wide variety of greeting cards. We have got all occasions covered whether you are looking for birthday, new home, anniversary or a simple thank you card plus everything in between.

There are also plenty of blank cards, photographic, humour and fine art cards to choose from too. And for the final touch to that well thought out gift is the wrapping paper. We always have a very lovely choice of paper, tissue and gift bags.

Homeware & Gifts

Our gift department hosts a wide variety of gifts for the home. We have a range of beautiful coloured glassware, picture frames, recycled fair trade and some lovely V&A decorated with prints taken from the Victoria and Albert museum. Also a large selection of the very popular Yankee candles, with seasonal changes along side the top selling aromas throughout the year and a variety of their accessories which include beautiful glass votives and various candle holders.

We also have a great selection of body care products from Heathcote & Ivory featuring their new collection of soaps, hand creams and body lotions from the ever popular Cathy Kidston designer range.
Not forgetting the children with a lovely choice of toys like the gruffullo, stationary, and a selection of embroidered table liners and cushions and much more.

Books

Our gift section houses an array of quality books all very reasonably priced. We regularly have new titles added every month. Again we have something for everyone of all ages. There are beautifully illustrated children's story books and activity books, including titles from recent television programs like pepper pig and Thomas the tank engine.
For the gardeners out there we have useful books with hints and tips for growing success in your garden or allotment and helpful advice on creating the perfect relaxing garden space. along with specific books on orchids, vegetables, trees, shrubs, organic growing plus many many more.

for those who like to cook, there is always a good selection of cookery books including titles from the top chefs, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Anthony Warral Thompson to name but a few. there is always a supply of world cookery books too so you can try something different from around the world.

Audio & Visual

We have a lovely selection of relaxing music. Check out the sounds on our interactive display stand, enabling you to press a button and listen to a clip of music from a particular CD. There are some great chill out tunes and relaxation CDs along with some unusual sounds like Zen garden, dolphin serenade, echo of grace and African voices to name but a few.

Sweets

We are expanding our range of sweets, so there should be something to suit all tastes, whether you are a traditionalist and go for humbugs, rhubarb and custard or travel sweets, liquorice or chocolate, sherbert lemons or fruit gums,. We have a lot of treats to choose from. With a special offer or two along the way. Make sure you keep an eye out for our special seasonal yummies as well i.e. chocolate reindeer at Christmas, bunnies for Easter or eyeballs on Halloween.
