What's on the menu?

We have different dishes of the day on our hotplate and there is always a varied selection of scrumptious ingredients including meat from the butchers and our bloomer bread from the bakery, both, in Countesthorpe village, as well as home grown vegetables from our allotment.

This Months Special Offer

Every month at Chives Coffee Shop we have a special offer, and for the month or March, we can offer a pot of tea or regular filter coffee with a flowerpot muffin for £2.50. Offer is available everyday between 3pm & 4pm.

Roast Dinners

Every Sunday (and Wednesday from March 2012) our famous Roast Dinners are available. A succulent joint of beef, pork or chicken will be served with all the trimmings you would expect without any clearing up afterwards. £6.25 per person.

Afternoon Tea for Two

The great English tradition of afternoon tea, and at Chives Coffee Shop you get a great experience. For £8.50 you get a great selection of sandwiches, scones with cream & jam, and great tasting tea for 2 people to share. Available everyday between 2pm & 4pm.

Home grown & local ingredients

Onsite at Glebe Garden Centre Leicester, we have a large allotment which produces a lot of the vegetables eaten in Chives.
