What's on the menu?

We have different dishes of the day on our hotplate and there is always a varied selection of scrumptious ingredients including meat from the butchers and our bloomer bread from the bakery, both, in Countesthorpe village.

Roast Dinners

Every Sunday our famous Roast Dinners are available. A succulent joint of beef, pork or chicken will be served with all the trimmings you would expect without any clearing up afterwards. £6.25 per person.

Afternoon Tea for Two

The great English tradition of afternoon tea, and at Chives Coffee Shop you get a great experience. For £9.95 you get a great selection of sandwiches, scones with cream & jam, and great tasting tea for 2 people to share. Available everyday between 2pm & 4pm.

We have been buying our shrubs and plants from Glebe Garden Centre Leicester for many years and always found them to be of the very best quality. When we have been after specific types of plant or equipment the staff have always been happy to order things for us and advised when the articles are ready for collection.
